A Novel Invariant for Video Tracking in Camera Sensor Networks

Professors Charles Dyer (CS) & Nigel Boston (ECE)
UW-Madison

Abstract

For the last few years, our group (Professors Boston, Dyer, and Hu) have applied a new kind of invariant to the problem of face recognition. These invariants are robust and can be applied in other contexts such as video tracking. In this talk we describe the invariants, some background on video tracking, and the benefits of our approach. We are looking to recruit new members to this project.

Time and Place: Wed., Sept. 26, at 3:30 pm in 4610.
